March for Babies is the nation?s oldest charitable walking event and the largest annual March of Dimes fundraiser. The event will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Blikre Activities Center. The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community service, education and advocacy to save babies.
