Machine Appliqué Instructor ? Bonnie Anderson The focus of the class is to learn the basics of raw edge fusible machine appliqué. This 2 session class will cover preparing the fabric, use of paper backed fusible web, and stitching using your machine with a small zigzag or buttonhole stitch. You will learn to appliqué flower petals, leaves and bias stems to make a springtime table runner. Bonnie will show you techniques to create a finished project that is soft, not stiff like most machine appliqué. Class is suitable for advanced beginners. Participants must have taken a beginner quilting class (need not be from the RDAG) prior to this class. This is a two session class. Dates - Tuesdays, March 29 and April 5 Time - Choose either 1:30 to 4 pm or 6:30 to 9 pm Fee - $50
